When you have suddenly lost network connection and the POS terminals are no longer responding to the live database, you can enter Offline mode and record sales locally on the POS. When the network comes back to life, you can simply reload the POS fusion software and all the local data will be sent back to the live database.

Entering Offline Mode

  1. Start by opening the Fusion POS software.
  2. Providing the connection to the data server is no longer active, you will be displayed with the POS configuration box.
  3. Click the Start Offline button.
  4. You will need to enter Today’s offline password. You will need to call the CRBCunninghams helpdesk to acquire this password. It will work on all POS terminals for the day but you will need a new password for the next day.
  5. Once you have entered the password, click the OK button.
  6. The software will load up and you will be presented with the login screen, you’ll notice the red Offline status at the bottom right-hand corner.
  1. Start the Fusion POS software.
  2. The software will then send all the data held from using Offline mode to the Data Server and return to live mode.
