In this latest version of Fusion, the following changes have been made:

Headline features

Discounts

Fusion now allows schools to create discounts which operators can apply to eligible transactions at the Point of Sale. For information on discounts, visit the Discounts, Managing discounts, Adding discount buttons to a menu, and Applying discounts sections of this manual.

Gender changes

The gender value held against users is no longer a mandatory field. Additionally, admins can now create additional gender values (previously only options were Male, Female, and Unknown). Any values coming from the MIS that is not already in Fusion will be automatically created and applied to the relevant users. Read more information here.

General improvements

• A location filter has been added to all built-in smart reports allowing for greater filtering
• Transaction receipts updated to display discount values.

Report changes

• New reports
  • Discount usage: Provides a list of created discounts and their usage between the selected reporting range.
  • User messages: Provides a list of all users that have a permanent message, temporary message, dietary preferences, or notes on their user account.

• The following reports have been updated with the new styling and made multi-school compatible (where applicable):

  • Fusion online onboarding letter
  • Income summary
  • Opening/Closing balance by range
  • PLU Sales – Updated to include Discounts columns

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where the ‘Revaluation list’ report wasn’t showing internet payment transactions due to the report previously using the location multi-select filter.
• Fixed an issue with the cash up parameter (used on the ‘Revaluation summary’ report) which was not showing the correct date/time values
