Previously, Fusion required a configuration to an SMTP server to send reports and notifications directly to people’s inboxes via email. Since the introduction of SendGrid integration, this is no longer required and has been replaced with a ‘Test email’ function.
This allows for sending a test email to the entered address to confirm connectivity to the SendGrid API.
*If after pressing Test an error is displayed, this is because Fusion is unable to contact the SendGrid API. Please contact your school IT as they may need to whitelist the SendGrid URL: api.sendgrid.com
