In this latest version of Fusion, the following changes have been made:
Headline features
Ad hoc allowances (known as “Gold cards” in Impact)
Ad hoc allowances are allowances that can be allocated to users on an ad hoc basis. For example, a school may have a bursary allowance that is intermittently allocated to users. When an ad hoc allowance has been allocated to a user, this allowance stays on the users account until it is spent or manually removed.
User labels
User labels have been introduced to make it easier to manage groups of users, specifically the management of ad hoc allowances. Labels can be created and then allocated to users. You can use these labels to quickly and easily select those users that match the labels.
Fusion Collect compatibility
To assist with the delivery of pre-orders, we have created a companion app to work alongside Fusion Online. This app allows operators within the school to quickly view, distribute and update pre-orders. This version of Fusion is the minimum version that Fusion Collect requires to function.
Pre-order cancellations via Fusion Online
Pre-orders made via Fusion Online can now be cancelled within the Fusion Online app or website. Cancellations can only be made up until the ‘Cancellation Cut-off’ time for the period and day the pre-order was made for.
Bug fixes

- Fixed an issue where the Fusion API would allow a pre-order on days where the calendar said that the school was closed.
- Fixed an issue with the online payment forensic logging for all providers.
- Fixed an issue where the data server may not start on first attempt but would work after closing and re-opening the data server configuration and trying again.
- Fixed an issue with the pre-order layout editor which was making you choose a maximum when you set a minimum on a menu.
