UFSM Eligibilty (Universal Free School Meals)

Pupils in the first 3 years of primary school are currently entitled to a free school meal paid for by the government. This entitlement is known as Universal Free School Meals, often abbreviated to UFSM. iPayimpact records UFSM separate to normal Free School Meals on your reconciliation reports.

If the legislation changes, you will be able to amend the details for your school.

1. Select the fund from the list.
2. Press the UFSM Eligibility button.
   

Adding a new UFSM period

1. Click the Add a new UFSM period button.
2. Select the required year from the drop-down list.
3. Set a Start and End date for the UFSM
   
4. Press Save to complete.

Editing an existing UFSM period

1. Select the UFSM Period to edit by pressing the Edit button.
2. Alter the Year or End date as required.
3. Press Save to complete.

Deleting a UFSM period

1. Locate the UFSM Period to delete and press the corresponding Delete button.
2. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to delete this. Press Yes to confirm. The UFSM period will be deleted.
