We are pleased to have been back at the LACA Main Event and School Food Show 2022, which took place from 6th- 8th of July in Birmingham. It was great to discuss some of the most significant developments in our industry with school leaders, caterers, and MATs from all over the UK.

Showcasing nutritional analysis software, Nutmeg
Schools and caterers had the opportunity to experience Nutmeg meal analysis and menu planning software at the LACA Main Event 2022. Our team demonstrated Nutmeg’s features, illustrating how Nutmeg aids with Natasha’s Law, helps meet National Food Standards and highlights food allergens in school meals.
Many conversations centred around supporting schools in measuring and meeting school meal guidelines. Nutmeg offers the complete nutritional platform solution for school caterers. The software demonstrations showcased smart reporting, showing the breakdown of nutritional content, costing per dish and allergen information, and that all-important link with our Fusion cashless system.

The main topic we encountered from schools and caterers was reducing school meal queue times and streamlining their payment process to allow students more time to enjoy their break time and ensure they aren’t skipping meals.
